Golf Slice Cure Tips - ...tip to help prevent the slice is to close the club face slightly at the address position as this will promote more of a draw spin which will give you both more carry and roll. Also make sure to not get your dominant hand involved too much in the golf swing as this will also promote an outside to in swing path. Keep your grip pressure light as holding the club too tightly promotes tension in the swing and will usually result in poor shots. How to Chip in Golf - ...swinging a golf club, the middle of your center of gravity is where the lowest point typically falls. Because you want to avoid hitting the ground before you strike the ball, you should move the ball just behind center at address. For beginners, use two inches behind your center, then you can adjust as you become more comfortable. Just don't forget to keep this ball location consistent as moving it will change the angle of your club impact and you will find it harder to consistently strike the ball ..

Long Drive Golf Tips

Long drive golf tips! Every golfer wants to learn how to drive golf balls farther down the fairways. You can drive the ball farther by learning and using a few golf tips. First of all, if you think that you have to be 6ft.8in. and weigh 270 pounds to hit it longer, that is simply not the case. A good example would be, Camillo Villegas. He probably weighs around 160 and might be 5ft.9in. or 5ft.10in, yet, he can hit it 300 plus yards. There are certain fundamentals that he and others are using to get them there.

One of the first things that are going to have to be correct every time you golf swing is that you have to find the middle of the clubface for solid ball contact. You can have all the clubhead speed in the world, but, without solid contact, you are losing distance. You can swing a weighted golf club to help increase your clubhead speed. You can also use those little donut weights that you slide down onto your club.

The next tip that I would like to mention is your grip pressure. This is an extremely important golf tip that is often missed. Your hands must be tension free. The tighter you hold the club, the less it will release throughout the ball. If I were to put it on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being the lightest grip and 10 being the strongest grip, I would say between 3 and 4 should be about right. Your grip pressure should be a little stronger when hitting out of the rough or sand or if it's a situation that calls for a harder swing.

If your not using a wrist cock, you need to start. Having a wrist cock and maintaining it late into your swing will increase your swing speed at impact, which will produce more distance. It takes some timing, so practice is necessary.

Move your ball way forward in your stance or start with your front foot in line with the ball to give it more loft during the set up. When you go for your backswing, you should shift your weight backward. This will add more power to your swing. Moving your ball forward in your stance allows for a full extension just after impact, which means you'll be crushing the ball.

Remember to keep your front arm extended through the swing and maintain the wrist cock until just before impact. If your club is real close to your head on the backswing, then your front arm is bent and your probably flipping at the ball. When practicing, stop at the top of your backswing and see if you are maintaining that 90 degree angle, by keeping your front arm extended. These are some great golf lessons to get you farther down the fairways. Long drive golf tips are great, if you are diligent and practice with a purpose. See you on the blog side.
