Tips For Your Backswing In Golf

A backswing in golf should be made as short as possible. This should be done in order to effectively play the game of golf. To achieve this, there are some swing tips for golf guidelines to be followed. Firstly, the golfer's shoulders should have a ninety degree rotation. It is normal to feel tightness with an uncomfortable feeling in the body before the player becomes good at his game. This should not be a point of concern to the player though, because it makes him create enough torque for the game. To avoid this uncomfortable tight swing though, the golfer should relax and let his body go. He should not be too uptight thinking about the game otherwise he will be uncomfortable.

Vigorously rotating the hips to more than forty five degrees does not help the player get a good backswing, contrary to popular belief. It instead reduces the necessary torque for the game and makes the player more uncomfortable. The wrists of the golfer should always be loose enough. This enables the club to swing ninety degrees in the wrists and thus the player does not have to swing back too far in order to achieve an effective backswing in golf.

In order for a golf swing to be shorter but more powerful, the player should rotate the shoulder enough for the chin to be above the left shoulder when he gets to the top. The chin should not come into contact with the shoulder when swinging either to the back left or to the right. This prevents the spine angle from bumping the shoulder. The golfer's back and the target should always face each other in order to create optimum torque.

When the player is at the top of the backswing in golf, the right leg should always be in the initial position that it was at the beginning of the swing. The position of the upper body is also important. It should always be towards the right but should also be inside the right foot arch. It should also be very well spread from head to toe. The angle of the spine should on the other hand be tilted in the same direction as the ball. It should have a turning point from the hips at about thirty degrees. The player should keep his right leg stationary. This maintains enough flex in the right knee and it is important because it enables the golfer to tilt laterally left at the top before the backswing in golf begins. If the right foot is stationary, it causes the player to lose power that was acquired through coiling and optimizes the player's power to perform the backswing in golf. The rear knee should also be flexed to avoid losing strength and finishing to the right.

Swing tips for golf also include addressing the ball. The player's wrists should be loosely hanging below the shoulders. The grip on the ball should be loosened to maximize the distance of the shot when the golfer is taking back the club. His right knee should be flexed and positioned forward towards the target or the left knee.
